Abstract
Raman fiber laser source based on novel fibers offer an exciting possibility for the mid-IR and longer wavelength regions. Such mid-IR sources are pumped by commercially available fiber lasers, and offer power-scalable, multi-spectral outputs in desired atmospheric bands of interest. BENEFIT: (1) Robust and wavelength-agile mid-IR laser sources for IRCM (2) Mid-IR sources for remote-sensing in atmospheric transmission windows (3) Mid-IR sources for spectroscopic detection
