Abstract

Geospatial Systems and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) have teamed with Leica Geosystems to develop an Incident Surveillance Management System (ISMS) that can ingest data from remote sensing systems, reduce that data, and deliver information products to decision makers in near real time. The information products are consistent with accepted practice within the NIMS community and utilize standard, readily available tool sets. These performance objectives will be accomplished for a procurement and operational cost that allows for quick adoption and proliferation of this capability. Our ISMS proposal builds on our team¿s collaboration on similar programs for the US Air Force, NASA, and the US Army Corps of Engineers, delivering innovative systems for real-time/near-real-time processing, transmission and dissemination of remotely sensed data. Features include: - Fully automated highly efficient ¿push button¿ geo-referencing process - Exclusive use of COTS/GOTS products - Airborne real time and near real time processing with high performance data down links - Extensive use of federally funded technology development - Cost Effective Systems Design and Delivery - High resolution EO/IR imagery collection and simultaneous airborne geoprocessing - State of the art real time and near time image capabilities - Airborne and Ground display of geo-processed imagery with GIS information
