Abstract
Sonalysts’ proposed solution for a game-based training system for individual and collective skills training (Focus Area 8) is to use a combination of 3D simulations, virtual environments, and gamification of traditional learning to help solve or alleviate the limitations of current Navy formal training, such as lack of equipment, portability/mobility limitations, and lack of methods to collect performance metrics. This combination will provide highly transportable, adaptive, and affordable training content without the overhead currently faced by more traditional training equipment.
