Abstract
A SWIR LIDAR sensor provides a track-while-scan, wide area surveillance capability which enables detection and accurate tracking of sea-skimming missiles from unmanned surface vehicles. The accurate and timely tracking capability extends the coverage range and reaction time of ship missile defense systems.
