Abstract

Intelligent Automation proposes to develop a specialized computer vision processor leveraging Single instruction, multiple data (SIMD) execution mechanism to achieve high throughput processing. Plan to leverage Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) and Error Detection and Correction (EDAC) techniques to make the processing system robust against the radiation impact. Simulations will be used to estimate size, weight, and power (SWaP), throughput, scalability, and degree of robustness against radiation effects on the proposed processor. Will develop a space grade Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) implementation of the processor. Approved for Public Release | 19-MDA-10270 (18 Nov 19)
