Abstract

Spectral Sciences, Inc., in collaboration with Sierra Engineering and Software, Inc., proposes to develop a predictive, data-validated software tool, which we have dubbed the Hypersonics Optical Signature Toolkit (HOST), for synthetically generating spatially and temporally-dependent EO signatures of maneuvering hypersonic configurations containing solid rocket boost and directional motors.  This effort will not only leverage many of SSI’s current high-fidelity wake and SRM debris modeling tools, it will interface these up-until-now disparate capabilities into a single, comprehensive signature tool for complex hypersonic systems.
