Abstract

This proposal addresses the portion of the SBIR topic requesting “concepts focused on enabling blue forces to utilize weapons as major contributors to multi-domain command and control space.”  With a specific interest technology of “…low-cost, multi-spectral seekers.” FIRST RF has developed compatible antenna technology for enabling low-cost multi-spectral RF seeker antenna arrays.  Proof-of-concept breadboards of these sensors have been fabricated and gain and phase performance validated. This technology will be leveraged in this effort. The primary objective of this effort is to develop a low-cost multi-spectral RF seeker antenna array that is compatible with legacy and future weapon form-factors, as well as future electronics and algorithms to enable significantly enhanced target detection, discriminating and spatial locating.
