Abstract

Our effort establishes an open-source, community-wide tool for systems-level modeling, simulation, and analysis of emerging UAM battery technologies. We enable the selection of chemistries and the sizing of battery pack over product life cycles considering vehicle mission profiles, electrical/thermal duty cycles, and battery degradation. We also provide insights into the potential of reuse/recycleability for second life applications.
