Abstract

We propose investigating the utility of Hunting Party, our government contracting analytics and engagement platform and government contracting user behavior data set to 1) increase competition for Air Force contracts by reducing the average amount the Air Force spends on each government contract and simultaneously increasing quality 2) encourage non-traditional vendors to bid on Air Force contracts 3) provide “customer (in this case we see government contracting companies as the customer of the contracting process) analytics on the Air Force contracting process. Hunting Party allows users to quickly search, vet, triage, share and collaborate on RFPs that look promising, and with some simple extensions can track the time and volume of activity associated with each RFP allowing us to provide immediate and precise feedback about the user experience during the RFP search and analysis process. This would allow the Air Force to shape their RFPs to maximize engagement and competition among traditional and non-traditional vendors alike.
