Research Institution
The objective of the program is to develop and demonstrate a new lightweight, low-pressure drop, low cost, high heat transfer heat exchanger material for military vehicles. Mezzo Technologies of Baton Rouge, Louisiana designs and manufactures heat exchangers whose design is fundamentally different from traditional compact heat exchangers. This program will focus on developing a plastic heat exchanger to demonstrate the technology. These results can be applied to a wide range of military vehicles and types of heat exchangers. Some of the types of heat exchangers include: evaporator, condenser, oil cooler, intercooler, and radiators.
