Abstract
For Phase II, Kutta proposes their Autonomous Multi-Mission Planner and Controller Tool (AMMPACT) solution to produce a lightweight, modular, ruggedized heterogeneous unmanned vehicle controller. The AMMPACT product goal is to assist the Army with increasing the lethality and survivability of the warfighters while reducing the amount of equipment required to be carried. Kutta’s AMMPACT product is a complete unmanned vehicle coordination and control device that can also provide the warfighter with access to Command and Control systems like the Combat Decision Aid System (CDAS). The use of industry standard messaging, modular interfaces, decision aids, and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) computing and communications hardware assures maximum interoperability and simplified integration. The AMMPACT combination of modular hardware and software is adaptable enough to meet the needs of both the current and future force. Kutta has specifically developed AMMPACT to address the control and coordination needs of the warfighters that are currently operating in theatre by integrating AMMPACT with Kutta’s modular decision aids to assist warfighters in planning and executing missions. The AMMPACT product combines lightweight, rugged, and mobile hardware with a modular, efficient interface to create a single device that is capable of controlling and coordinating multiple unmanned vehicles.
