Abstract

The Stable Master Oscillator (STAMO) which is insensitive to shock and vibration utilizes a unique optical resonator. The resonator cavity is not affected by the jitter of the associated electronics or temperature variations. The concept utilizes off-the-shelf, high reliability components readily available, allowing a cost effective approach in the development of a STAMO which is unaffected by severe shock and vibration environments.
