Abstract

The ISL Real-Time ElectroMagnetic Environmental Simulator (RTEMES™) provides a system for verification of RF systems in laboratory, chamber, and test range environments. The system hardware is based on COTS transceiver technology with embedded software that enables real-time streaming and recording of RF signals from VHF to K-band. The baseline RTEMES™ has the capability to meet the requirements to simulate high-fidelity RF data to test radar seeker systems in the laboratory with some key modifications to enable high-rate data flow for the simulated data inputs. Under this SBIR effort ISL will develop and implement these modifications and deliver the Navy an RTEMES™ system for testing and evaluation of imaging radar seekers.
