Abstract

Storagenergy proposes a novel methodology that allows for the 3D printing of different thermally cured thermosets in a fast and precise additive manufacturing process. The proposed approach has several advantages over other technologies for additive manufacturing of thermoset polymers including (1) High feature resolution and structure complexity (2) Fast fabrication speed (3) No post thermal or other processing is required and, (4) Capability to co-print two or more different thermally-activated thermosets.
