Abstract
"It is proposed to develop power generator modulars that can be stacked to obtain different power level. Power generation is based on advanced fuel cell technology that allows sudden switching and excellent load following. The design will be based onMER's low cost fuel cell technology. The individual modulesare self-regulating and load leveling if stacked.. The modules are rugged, interchangeable, and have a small footprint. Fuel sources are compressed hydrogen or JP8. Mobile power generators areused for construction sites, back up generators, emergency power, military operations, and on flight lines. New, more environmentally friendly generators with lower noise levels and without exhaust gases could be used indoors and for environmentallysensitive applications. Applications where generators have to be airlifted could also be targeted."
