Abstract
Oceanit proposes to develop a composite polymer-based electrolyte (CPE) and composite catholyte (Cathode + Electrolyte) for high voltage (5V) electrochemical energy storage system. The composite polymer electrolyte will consist of non-carbonate solvent, PEO and LiTFSI salt for excellent low temperature performance and high ionic condcutivities. Composite hierarchical catholyte comprises of LLZO - LiNi0.5Mn1.5 O4 –C65. Lithium metal will be combined with CPE and catholyte for developing elevated energy density Li-ion battery.
