Abstract
Space Micro and Draper Labs have teamed with support from Altius Space, to propose Autonomous Rendezvous Proximity Operation (RPO) capabilities which enable many missions that can be offered to the On-Orbit Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (OSAM) market as desired in the SpaceWERX Orbital Prime contract opportunity. Many of these missions will require RPO. RPO Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) enables the concurrence of two resident space objects and subsequent mission activities in a safe, repeatable, and proven method.
