Abstract
In this SBIR program, AdvR will develop a new feature in Y-branch dual phase modulator IOCs which enables fine tuning of the split ratio after assembly. The proposed approach utilizes existing technology with a long flight heritage in tactical gyroscopes to create a tunable section which is localized, finely adjustable and permanent after tuning. Preliminary modeling indicates the target performance is achievable. This phase I will establish the feasibility of the approach while maintaining the integrity of the IOC’s intrinsic performance characteristics.
