Abstract
A critical barrier for GA to serve as viable and volume personal transportation is the lack of a cost-effective, yet open-growth, Lean DesignO and manufacturing methodology for installing emergent technologies in existing airplanes as well as for producing new small airplanes. Munro & Associate?s (Munro?s) vision is to create an innovative , Lean DesignO integration system to select, source, adapt and install 21st century automotive industry consumer comfort technologies - SATS-LDATT, this will serve as a vital enabler for turning NASA's SATS Lab Vision into reality.
