AbstractThe Shallow Water Directional Active Measurements (SWDA) hascompleted a successful Phase I SBIR and is ready for Phase II.The proposed plan for Phase II is to develop the active sourcesand receiver prototypes for the active measurement portion ofTactical Acoustic Measurement (TAM) Sonobuoy. Acoustic moduleswill be fabricated and sea tested to gather data to confirm thatthe data collected is compatible with the tactical decision aids(TDA's) developed for the Directional Low Frequency Analyzing &Recording (DIFAR), the Vertical Line Array DIFAR (VLAD), the AirDeployable Acoustic Receiver (ADAR), Advanced Low Frequency Sonar(ALFS) and the Directional Command Active Sonobuoy System(DICASS).
