Abstract
The current effort will development and demonstrate a navigation aiding system for autonomous mine neutralization, comprising a disturbance resistent marker and guidance and control sensor for navigation with respect to the marker. The system will low cost to enable use on expendable vehicles, yet provide the range and homing precision dictated by the CONOPS. This Phase 2 effort will include algorithm, sensor electronics, and marker development and testing. Testing will be conducted in local waters and at a location selected by the sponsor to characterize operational capabilities.
