Abstract
The cross-eye jamming technique based on DRFM can be extended to a dual platform system by using the collaborative network theory. Each airplane is equipped with Oceanit's patented optical sensor, which is capable of measuring the angle between the other airplane and the missile. Therefore, the complete triangle made by the airplanes and missile can be uniquely determined once the distance between the airplanes is found using a RF signal. The distance between the missile and each airplane can be easily calculated once the triangle is defined, thus enabling cross-eye jamming using two noncoherent jammers. The proposed system should greatly reduce missile threat to military airplanes.
