Research Institution
Omni Measurement Systems, Inc already has a proposed solution to the liquid waste portion. Omni developed an extended wear, semi-automatic bladder relief device for aircrew through Air Force/Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase I, Phase II, Phase II Enhancement and Phase III contracts. The Advanced Mission Extender Device (AMXD) is certified Safe to Fly and FDA approved. Omni is currently manufacturing AMXD systems for the USAF under a procurement contract. This patented technology can be reconfigured to provide a bladder relief solution and solid waste management for Army War Fighters.
