Abstract
Photon-X team offers an innovative technique to passively or actively tag militarytroops, military vehicles, military assets and or undercover clandestine operationalcodes, which are undetectable by the human eye or conventional sensors. Photon-Xhas developed a patent pending sensor technology called spatial phase, which hasdemonstrated initial proof of concept for imaging, tracking multi-level transparentbar code tags. Spatial phase technology 1) creates an invisible multi-level opticalbar code tag 2) is a portable sensor system for real-time identification of tags,3) incorporates commercial-off-the-shelf camera technology and 4) uses easy toinstall bar codes. Spatial phase can be used for automated tracking and inventoryof military assets as well as encrypted bar codes for clandestine operations.Spatial phase technology has also been proven to be invariant to lighting changesand has shadow penetration capabilities, where subjects who are hiding in shadowswill now be detected. Photon-X has patents pending for this technology and hasformed a commercial spin-off company called Sport-X to rapidly develop this taggingtechnology for Sports tracking/broadcasting and enhanced interactive computeranimation. The Photon-X team will demonstrate during this phase I effort thefeasibility of using our patent pending spatial phase tagging technology for SOCOMapplications.Photon-X has spun-off a commercial venture (Sport-X) dedicated to developing atagging, tracking and identification optical bar code system to be used in theSports and interactive gaming markets. The Sport-X mission is to developnon-intrusive tags which can be easily placed on athletes and other sports gearto track these tags for real-time analysis of the players performance, fatigue, weaknesses, etc., this can be used by coaches or by broadcasters as sportscommentary. Sport-X has estimated the sports training and player performancemarket to be several billion for each of the major sports, such as, Football,Baseball, Soccer and Basketball. The computer animation is when each of thesepassive non-intrusive tags are placed on the joints and the motion of these tagsare recorded real-time and the 3D coordinates are transmitted by TCP/IP back tocentral base station for real life movement of animated scenes. The invention ofnew sensors continues to add new dimensions to the way humans
