Abstract

The research described in this proposal is intended to provide a basis for the development of advanced RF scene generation software by providing one of the key tools in the scene generation process, the target signatures. The development of beamforming RF munitions sensors operating at frequencies between X-band and 800 GHz will require scene generation software designed to work within that frequency regime. Many of the components for this software already exist; however, there are no currently existing target signature prediction codes that satisfy the requirements for advanced munitions sensor simulations. This proposal outlines a software development plan to solve that problem.
