Abstract
AIRCREW AND PILOT TRAINING IN THE PAST HAS BEEN LIMITED TO A COMBINATION OF THEORY AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING. AIRCRAFT SIMULATORS ARE NOW USED BUT ARE EXXCEEDINGLY EXPENSIVE TO PURCHASE AND TO OPERATE. PRE-SIMULATOR TRAINING CAN BE PRESENTED USING HIGH RESOLUTION, TOUCH SENSITIVE MICROCOMPUTERS THAT ARE HIGHLY INTERACTIVE AND EASILY PROGRAMMED. REGENCY SYSTEMS HAS DEVELOPED THIS TYPE OF MICROCOMPUTER AND IS USED IN THE AIRLINE INDUSTRY. REGENCY SYSTEMS PROPOSES TO PRESENT TRAINING EXERCISES ON THE R2 THAT WILL CLASSIFY AND ANALYZE INDIVIDUALS AS TO THEIR ABILITIES AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FURTHER TRAINING PROCEDURES FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL.
