Abstract
THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PHASE I PROPOSAL IS TO RESEARCH, DEVELOP AND TEST A REMOTE RADIO TELEMETRY CONTROL SYSTEM FOR INDIVIDUAL SPRINKLER VALVES AT MULTIPLE SITES THROUGHOUT AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM. PHASE I WOULD ENCOMPASS THE DESIGN, FABRICATION AND TESTING OF A TELEMETRY SYSTEM CONSISTING OF A BASE STATION PROGRAMMABLE CONTROL TRANSMITTER AND AT LEAST FIVE (5) CONTROLLER RECEIVERS (TO BE LOCATED AT EACH FIELD VALVE OR SPRINKLER HEAD TO BE CONTROLLED.
