Abstract
The objective of this project is to develop the capability in software programming tools to automatically map advanced BMD signal processing algorithms to next-generation COTS computational accelerators, within the context of open standards programming APIs, and in doing so to achieve a significant fraction of the accelerator’s peak performance. BMD radar algorithm complexity, the computational efficiency demands, and programming complexity drive the need for automated mapping. Our approach is based on the R-Stream compiler, which uses advanced polyhedral modeling abstractions for program representation, analysis, modeling and optimization.
