We propose to analyze and design prototype hardware, and demonstrate basic capabilities in a Phase I effort, based on coherent accumulation and interference of spectrally shaped waveforms to achieve wideband RF arbitrary waveform generation. The combined specifications include bandwidths of 10-40 GHz, time bandwidth products >>50 given the bandwidth and long time apertures with complete control of phase and amplitude of the signals, with bipolar waveform generation. The technology enables agile waveform generation for communications, sensor, radar and surveillance applications.
