Abstract
The current integrated missile harness fairing assembly (IMHFA) is thick, heavy and hard to maintain due to the large number of copper signal and power cables involved. SA Photonics' LightCables architecture replaces all signal cables with one or more fiber optic cables terminated by a signal multiplexer/demultiplexer for the Interceptor's modular component interconnections. The LightCable offers reliable and flexible signal connectivity of analog, digital and RF signals and significantly reduces the size and weight of the IMHFA.
