Abstract

A global positioning system (GPS) jammer, homing guidance system will be developed. The guidance system consists of radio frequency sensors, a digital signal processor, and algorithms for homing and guidance. The guidance system will be designed for a small UAV submunition. Guidance system design and simulation will be done during Phase I. System fabrication and integration into a small UAV will be done during Phase II. Flight testing will be conducted during Phase II to demonstrate and quantify the system's homing performance. The guidance system will detect multiple jammers, determine the number of jammers and their directions, sort multiple jammers, select a jammer for homing, and generate steering commands for a small UAV.
