THERE IS NEED FOR CRYSTAL SAMPLES TO STUDY NEW LASER MATERIALS. CURRENT CRYSTAL GROWTH SYSTEMS ARE EXPENSIVE ANDHENCE THE EXPERIMENTER NORMALLY LIMITS THE TEST VARIABLES. THERE IS A CURRENT NEED TO EVALUATE HOLMIUM DOPED YAG FOR A MID I-R LASER. THIS PROGRAM REQUIRES TWELVE SAMPLES, WITH VARYING RATIOS OF ERIBIUM, THULIUM HOLMIUM AND CHROMIUM, THULIUM, HOLMIUM.
