Abstract
The firm proposes to develop and mature an innovative technology for system or vehicle health management. The technology will include: 1) a coherent strategy for managing the relationship between diagnostics and prognostics, 2) a stochastic approach to modeling and estimation by considering uncertainties of the health management process, and 3) a self-assessment capability to evaluate the accuracy of diagnostic and prognostic results or recommendations. The objective of the proposed project is to mature models, algorithms, and software to enable near-term implementation of the technology in JSF and other related vehicle health management systems.
