Abstract
REAL TIME PERFORMANCE IN ASSOCIATE SYSTEMS IS A TECHNICAL RISK BECAUSE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNIQUES ARE USED, WHICH ARE TYPICALLY SLOW. OTHER METHODOLOGIES FOR THIS PROBLEM ADDRESS ONLY ONE PROBLEM ASPECT (E.G., EFFICIENCY) OR SIMPLY FIX AN EXISTING IMPLEMENTATION. THE PROPOSED RESEARCH WILL DEVELOP A DESIGN METHODOLOGY THAT ADDRESSES ALL ASPECTS OF THE PROBLEM PRIOR TO IMPLEMENTATION.
