Abstract
A radar scene generator meeting the requirements of both digital andhardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulations for modern millimeter wave (MMW) systemsis proposed. The scene generator will meet the level of fidelity expectations ofdigital simulations, with adaptability to real-time HWIL applications.The simulation will be modularized so that it can be adapted to varying waveform parameters,while retaining computational efficiencies necessary to real-time updates.Simulation Technologies, Inc. (SimTech) proposes to approach this problemusing real-time radar scene generation computers and software tools. The scene generator will be targeted to two markets, the first of which are theDoD and contractors who develop radar seeker systems. The second market is tosignal and image analysis medical applications using the specialized math librariesdeveloped as part of the scene generator.
