Abstract
RESEARCH ON A NOVEL REACTION COMPENSATION SYSTEM IS PROPOSEDIN ANSWER TO THE NEEDS OF DESIGNING ROBOTIC SYSTEMS THAT ARE REACTIONLESS. ANY ROBOTIC SYSTEM FOR USE IN THE SPACE STATION MUST BE REACTIONLESS SO AS NOT TO DISTURB THE ACCELERATION ENVIRONMENT IT IS IN. THE FEASIBILITY OF DESIGNING AND SUBSEQUENTLY BUILDING A RCS WILL BE INVESTIGATED. PERSONNEL AT SPARTA HAVE DEVELOPED SEVERAL PRELIMINARY CONCEPTS. THESE CONCEPTS WILLBE FURTHER STUDIED, CULMINATING IN THE SELECTION OF A SINGLE DESIGN THAT IS COST EFFECTIVE AND MEETS THE ABOVE MENTIONED NEEDS.
