Abstract
THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCREENING MODELS IS PROPOSED TO PROVIDE A TOOL TO DETERMINE THE TRANSFER ABILITY OF RESERVOIR-SPECIFIC RESULTS TO RESERVOIRS IN OTHER FIELDS OR BASINS. A TECHNIQUE UTILIZING CORRELATIONS BETWEEN CHARACTERISTICS OF RESERVOIRS IN DIFFERENT FIELDS AND BASINS WOULD BE RELATED TO PRODUCTION DATA AND COMPLETION TECHNIQUES. STANDARD MODELS WOULD BE DEVELOPED, WITH VARIATIONS, AND A DATA INTERFACE SYSTEM WOULD BE DEVISED WHICH COMPARES SPECIFIC RESERVOIR DATA TO THE STANDARD MODELAND THEN CATAGORIZED. PRODUCTION AND COMPLETION INFORMATIONWOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE MODEL. DEVELOPMENT OF A PRELIMINARY SCREENING MODEL AND AN INTERFACE SYSTEM WOULD BE DONE IN PHASE I. PHASE II WOULD CONSIST OF CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF THE METHODOLOGY AND THE EXPANSION OF THE REFERENCE MODELS, PLUS A DEMONSTRATION.
