AbstractTechnology Service Corporation (TSC) proposes to design a stabilized crystal oscillator for low noise operation in a shook and vibration environment. Oscillator stability to a continuing problem In both Military and commercial radars which operate in vehicles, aircraft, *Up*, etc., since the acceleration imparted to the crystal modulate its, frequency. TSC's design approach to to implement circuit techniques similar to those used in radar and communication receivers which employ sidelobe cancelling circuits to reduce, the affect of external interference or jamming. To stabilize, the crystal oscillator, one or more accelerometers would be mounted in close proximity to the crystal to sample, the vibration environment. The accelerometer output would be correlated with the FM demodulated oscillator signal, and the error voltage would be amplified and applied as a correction signal to the oscillator circuit.
