Abstract
TIAX has previously evaluated the efficacy of polymeric materials in the removal of chemical and biological agents form surfaces. The system previously evaluated showed better than 2-log removal of simulants for both chemical and biological agents. TIAX is proposing under this SBIR proposal to significantly broaden the scope of the technology through application of proprietary systems to demonstrate efficacy in decontamination of biological agents and in future phases, chemical agents. Evaluations will be conducted on standard building materials, which are expected to be further expanded in subsequent phases of this program.
