AbstractThe ojective of this project is to develop a set of appraches to the accountability of TOMAHAWK Command Information (TCI) by producers and consumers of TCI. TIBURON's background in the development of currently deployed TOMAHAWK command/control systems in conjuction with the coordination/interfacing with TOMAHAWK weapon systems will serve as the basis of understanding of the strengths and deficiencies of current and near-term mission/TCI accountability schemes. The primary goal of this project will be to identify algorithms and schemas for establishing and maitaining end user TCI accountability with multiple systems cohabiting on a virtual network. Subordinate goals to the primary goal are identification of (1) the TCI user community's information requirements and (2) their appropriate paths over both the GLOBIXS and TADIXS networks, along with (3) a projection of the network loading for the TCI data, and (4) the identification of security requirements associated with the distribution of TCI data on these networks. To support the design tradeoffs and requirements analysis of the algorithms/schemes for establishing/maintaining TCI accountability, and network bandwidth requirements for TCI data, TIBURON proposes to develop a GLOBIXS/TADIXS network simulation mode. Additionally, analysis and tradeoff studies will be performed in Phase I in support of achieving all Phase I goals, which will be summarized in the Phase I Final Report.
