Abstract
The objective of this program is to develop a smart filter for fluidic systems. This system will be based around a Vortex filter, and the corresponding Vortex filter housing. The array sensor will be integrated in the filter housing. The sensors, based on Translume fluid condition monitoring optical microsensors, will monitor the condition of the filter and assess its reamining service life.
