Abstract
This program will entail making further refinements to a rapidly polymerizable resin which was shown during the Phase I Program to induce corrosion and ductility loss within treated steel rifle barrels. Besides optimizing the formulations, efforts will also be directed during this Phase II program towards devising suitable equipment for efficiently dispensing this resin into rifles using truck, backpack and hand sized dispensing applicators.
