Abstract
VERAC PROPOSES TO USE ITS EXTENSIVE COMPUTER SCIENCE AND SOFTWARE EXPERTISE TO SHOW THE FEASIBILITY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF A GRAPHICS POST-PROCESSOR FOR THE TSAR AND DYNA-METRIC LOGISTICS MODELS. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS, VERAC WILL PERFORM A SURVEY OF IDENTIFIED USERS TO DETERMINE SPECIFIC NEEDS FOR THE GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION OF OUTPUT FROM THESE MODELS AND WILL GENERATE A PRELIMINARY DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIFICATION OF SOFTWARE REQUIRED TO SATISFY THESE NEEDS. VERAC HAS INTIMATE EXPERIENCE IN THE USE OF TSAR, DYNA-METRIC, AND RELATEDMODELS IN SUPPORT OF RECENT AND CURRENT EFFORTS IN THE ANALYSIS OF AIRBASE SUPPORT OPERATIONS. IN ADDITION, VERAC HAS A STRONG CAPABILITY IN THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF TURNKEY COMPUTER SYSTEMS SUCH AS THE AIRFIELD DAMAGE ASSESSMENT SYSTEM (ADAS), WHICH FEATURES MENU-DRIVEN CAPABILITY, GRAPHICAL OUTPUT AND DATA BASE MANAGEMENT. THE DESIGN SPECIFICATION WILL PROVIDE AN ASSESSMENT OF THE EXTENT OF THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED AND COULD BE USED IN A PHASE II EFFORT TO TRANSITION TO ACTUAL CODE DEVELOPMENT.
