TECHNIQUES IN POLYMER AND COMPUTATIONAL CHEMISTRY ARE USED TO HANDLE DATA INTERPRETATION, CALCULATION OF DEGRADATION KINETICS AND MACROMOLECULAR PROPERTIES OF LIGNIN. MOLECULARAPPROACH IS ADOPTED THROUGHOUT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS PROJECT. IMPORTANT EXPERIMENTAL TECHNIQUES, FOR RESEARCH AND ROUTINE CHARACTERIZATION, ARE ILLUSTRATED WITH MODERN INSTRUMENTATION AND CALCULATIONS.
