Abstract
MicroLink proposes a novel device structure which combines ultra-thin, high-efficiency, GaAs-based multijunction solar cells with a novel packaging approach that will result in high flexibility, elastic solar sheets. MicroLink has developed a process that produces ultra-thin, flexible solar cells. In this project, these an array of these flexible solar cells will be incorporated onto an elastic sheet to provide an output voltage>25 V. The net result will be a solar sheet that has an elastic response along with high net solar conversion efficiency.
