Abstract
PaneraTech, in partnership with Ohio State University ElectroScience Laboratory, is proposing to develop an advanced beamforming/null steering algorithm that provides the desired navigation accuracy in the presence of rotor blade modulation of the satellite signals and the incident interfering signals. We will investigate various adaptive weighting algorithms for rotorcraft mounted GPS antenna arrays and determine the most optimal algorithm that will maintain or improve C/N for satellite signals, and minimal antenna induced biases or calibration of antenna induced biases in the presence of rotor blade jammer reflection and modulation of GPS satellite signals.
