Abstract

Biological weapon attacks are a continuing threat to the US military and homeland security. Current fluorescent detection technology has poor performance against spore based bioweapons threats. PCR, immunoassay, and lab-on-a-chip detection technologies are accurate, but are slow and require a constant stream of expensive reagents.
