Abstract
This SBIR project addresses the Army’s need for development of a high performance, low cost, reduced size, weight and power consumption (SWaP) beam steering array antenna that operates at the Ku-band frequency range with multiple simultaneous beam capability. During the course of the proposed Phase II effort, EMAG Technologies will design, fabricate and test a Ku-Band antenna capable of operating in the 14GHz and 15GHz bands, providing two simultaneous beams that can facilitate communications between two independently moving nodes at modest ranges and supporting a high bandwidth on both the uplink and the downlink.
