Abstract
The Arete team proposes development of SCULPT, an ISIS application for rapidly creating 3D models from 2D images of passing ships. The acronym is derived from the algorithm fundamentals; that is, Ship Model Creation from Unregistered Imagery, Library Source-Data, and Periscope Targeting. SCULPT will build a 3D ship model with sufficient precision for future ATR comparison by adding a small number of target images collected onboard to a reference library of openly-available silhouettes and dimensional information.
