Abstract

The current problem of handling thousands of workflows and hundreds of tasks associated with these workflows within the current ALP architecture is enormous. In this effort we propose efficient and scalable data structure and algorithms that can order the workflows and associated tasks to be processed by the Assessor. In addition, we provide the capability to correlate workflows with actual logistics data in he form of a global read only workflow correlation record that can be read by the entire ALP cluster. We also examine the problem of ordering workflows are independent. Finally, we examine complex workflow constraints other than time-phased constraints. In particular, we define representation and methods for processing these constraints.
